SMI ADJUSTABLE SUPPORT 60-70MM

ADJUSTABLE SUPPORT SMI 60-70MM is an adjustable metal support for indoor use, made of steel, with a head with a conductive, anti-noise and anti-slip plastic gasket with 2 mm thick fins, for raised floor panels for indoor use. SMI’s range of supports consists of adjustable steel brackets to ensure an always flat, versatile and easy-to-install indoor raised floor. In particular, SMI supports are suitable for the installation of encapsulated panels with a wood chipboard or gypsum fibre core, also part of the same product line, either resting directly on the head gasket with special fins, or fixed to the steel support heads by means of self-tapping screws – corner lock system.

Adjustable support… in a workmanlike manner

The head height is adjustable so that the desired height can be achieved for the indoor raised floor. The adjustable supports of the SMI line offer the opportunity to have a finished surface from a minimum of 40 mm up to a maximum of 1090 mm in complete safety. There are 3 types of support used to achieve the desired heights and differ in terms of the shape and area of the base, the presence or absence of the adjusting nut and internal thread, and the continuous or choked tube at the top; the latter case from the SMI 26 model onwards, to give a greater mechanical capacity. By adjusting the SMI supports, you can have a perfectly flat floor ready for the installation of encapsulated panels, which can then be covered with self-laying coatings, or panels with a core and permanent top coating.

Floors walkable immediately, coatable after completion of work

Encapsulated panel technology has the tremendous advantage of being able to create floors that can be walked on immediately, and can be covered after the work is completed. In fact, one of the big problems associated with indoor flooring is its implementation and subsequent maintenance in the best state, until the end of site work. The use of encapsulated steel sheet panels enables the creation of walkable floors on the construction site, which can be soiled and scored. In fact, once all the site work is finished, it will be very easy to cover the encapsulated floor with self-laying coatings to give the finished floor the finish you want. In fact, there are numerous alternatives for indoor floor coverings, which, thanks to their self-laying technology, allow them to be laid directly at the end of construction work, preserving their finish and quality until the spaces concerned are open to the public.

Accessories available for every need

SMI’s range of adjustable metal supports for indoor use is completed with a series of accessories that are useful for solving the most common problems encountered on site when installing the raised floor. These include the 1° or 3° slope compensator, the 105×105 mm plastic separating layer and the 3 mm thick 100×100 mm rubber acoustic pad with anti-slip and anti-noise function. In addition, reinforcement crossbars are available to increase the mechanical load-bearing capacity of the finished floor according to project requirements.
